Different paper sizes work better for different items of literature and also the postage costs can vary depending on size. If you want advice please let us know.
Each item listed shows the weight of paper that it will be printed on. For most marketing items (leaflets etc.) we recommend quite heavy weights of paper. Many people feel this produces a more professional and expensive-feeling item. In addition, it is less likely to get damaged in the post. It is difficult to describe on a website the different weights of paper, but we’ll try by giving a couple of examples:
We print all the promotional items, except the posters, on gloss paper – unless you change the paper weight option when ordering. The postcards are also printed on gloss paper, however, this does mean that you can’t easily write anything on them. So, if you want to add names and addresses to the postcards, you’ll need to use labels.
The stationery items are printed on smooth white paper or board as described above.
Unlike traditional printing, the number of colours you use on the promotional items will not affect the cost of printing. The stationery items however, are charged based on the number of colours used. Simply send us examples of your current stationery and we’ll be able to advise you.
